Christa Barten

Former CSTT staff
Education:Christa Barten (1958) received her Master Sociology at Tilburg University in 1996 on the subject of Social Stratification and Social Inequality. Before that she was educated as a social worker.
Career:Christa has been at NHTV since 1996. Her main subjects are research (qualitative and quantitative) and sustainable management of cultural and natural heritage sites. She joined CSTT in 2013 for a research on the value of distance for consumers and was one of our researchers for the CARMATOP project. Christa stopped her research activities for CSTT starting the academic year 2017-2018.
